Appearance -

Artemis is on the shorter side despite her age, just over 5' tall. As if in opposition to her history of fiery affiliation, her eyes are light blue, turning slightly green just around the pupil, and her hair is silvery white. She keeps it in a long plain ponytail, with the strands framing her face just short enough not to cause trouble. Tiny scars and healed over burns, bruises, and not-so-healed burns and scratches are scattered all over her lightly tanned white skin (despite years wandering the outdoors, she skin remains invincibly tan-resistant). Her hands are often bandaged up from some mishap or another, although the worst of her adventuring scars is the bloom on her back.

Don't ask, you probably wouldn't believe her.

Generally, Artemis can be found wearing a black t-shirt emblazoned on the front with the red silhouette of a pokéball in the base of a stylized red flame silhouette. In cooler weather, she'll wear a white long-sleeved shirt underneath this. She also favours khaki pants with a set of cargo pockets. A belt and some simple black sneakers complete her outfit. Simple iz gud. Oh, and a satchel backpack of infinite holding.

Personality -

Daring: Blindly brave or blindly stupid, it's left to you to decide. Either way, Artemis is pretty impossible to intimidate. She'll charge into any situation, or if there's not a situation, she'll volunteer to make one. Often without warning anyone else first. Poke that angry Steelix? Why not! Pet the pretty flaming wolf? What could it hurt! Jump off that cliff? Who couldn't!

Carefree: Nothing much upsets or phases her. She's basically a happy wandering soul, just going about life and careening from one day to the next with as much optimism and thrill as anyone ever has had. She's done some pretty crazy stunts in the name of fun and adventure. Cheerful, hopeful, battier than a rock tunnel... That's Artemis in an acorn.

Compassionate: There isn't a drop of malice in her entire essence. Mischief, button-pushing... well, no one's an angel all the time, but she has never done anything with the intent of causing harm of any kind, even if that's been the result every once in a while. She means well, really. Artemis assumes everyone is her friend; in fact, she'll insist on it even when faced with exceedingly obvious evidence that the friendship is not mutual. There are only two people she's never trusted, and this was the girl who fell in love with a crippled psychopath who worked for a would-be murderer.

There was a whole bunch of stuff thrown in between all that with Christmas balls, ancient ruins unleashing legendary powers, meetings tons of people, being rescued form near death after exploring a ghost ship, falling in love, and losing everything.

She's completely oblivious to how much of a tragedy her life would be if she didn't believe life is a comedy.
